12.000 bottles – 400 magnums – 1000 half-bottles


  • 15 ha of surface under vine
  • Predominantly clay-limestone soils
  • Undergoing organic conversion since May 2009
  • Double Guyot pruning
  • De-budding, de-leafing and thinning (”green harvests”)
  • Harvesting began on the 23rd of September 2011
  • Mechanical harvesting followed by manual sorting on a sorting table

Planting ratio:



  • Traditional method with temperature controlled vats
  • 28 day maceration period in temperature controlled vats
  • Ageing:
    • 75% of production volume aged for 12 months in French oak barrels
    • 25% in vats
  • No fining in the blending process
  • Cross-flow filtration before bottling
  • Bottled on the 5th,6th and 7th of June 2013

  • 14.5% abv
  • This vintage is complex yet retains a smooth attack. Fruity, toasty notes.
  • Requires decanting

Béatrice’s verdict: «a well-built wine, fine tannins, should be uncorked on a nice piece of beef for example. Can age over 10 years.»
