Tasted journal Special Christmas

By Andreas Larsson & Markus Del Monego

Tasted 100% blind, Andreas Larsson & Markus Del Monego, had a great surprise for us in their “Christmas Special” edition on the 18th of December 2013. Two of our vintages were among their highest scoring wines in this Bordeaux and Champagne special edition:

  • 89,5/100 for the 2011 vintage
  • 90/100     for the 2011 vintage

89,5 | Château TRAPAUD 2011

Saint Emilion – Grand Cru AL – Youthful purple nuance. The nose is young and modem with new oak, roasted notes, violet, dark plum, blackberry, cherry and fine spices. The palate is rich and dense, nice dark fruit, plenty of extract with fine wood and a good dose of freshness. Still youthful and restrained but with fine length and a good potential for development. 89 MDM – Dark purple red with violet hue and black center. Intense nose with aromas reminiscent of mature blackberries fresh oak and roasted flavours. On the palate well structured with firm tannins backed by fruit. 90
